DJERBA
The beaches, the climate, the palm trees make it a real Pearl of the Mediterranean, that turned into the tourist destination par excellence. So unique and so different, it enchants the tourist who discovers it for the first time. Known since ancient times, it seems that the Phoenicians had a commercial emporium there. Placed under the control first of Carthage and then of Rome it became an important reference point of the Roman Empire and there are numerous archaeological remains that attest to the expansion of the kingdom. After the decline of Rome it was dominated by Vandals and Byzantines, only to be finally conquered by the Arabs. The island has been able to develop while maintaining traditional architecture, folklore and authentic charm.
The island of Djerba is the largest in North Africa and is connected to the continent by a Roman bridge. The peculiarity of its landscape, unusual and wild, the kilometers of fine sandy beaches, the clarity of the waters, as well as the hospitality of the population and a comfortable hotels, make it one of the most popular places for vacation in the Mediterranean.
KORBA
Korba is a Tunisian village which is located on the eastern part of the Cap Bon peninsula. Administratively, it is part of the governorate of Nabeul.
The town of Korba is perched on a high coastal hill. One of the charming secrets of this small town is the beauty of its beaches; in fact, being a small town, there are not many places to visit in Korba, but certainly if you are looking for one of the best swimming in Tunisia, its beaches are at the top of the list of competitors.
If you are planning to spend your vacation in Korba, there is also a good chance that you will see life in pink! In Korba you can visit the Korba Lagoon which is the home to the largest colony of flamingos. Seeing them fly overhead, land on the pond and perform their courtship display is real show!
