Our opinion
The elegant Castello Village Resort is a 4-star hotel belonging to the Castello Hotels Group. It was born in the seaside village of Sissi, 21km from the lively and chaotic Hersonissos and 8km from Malia, the liveliest tourist resorts on the island, distinguishing itself however for its placid and serene atmosphere. Sissi enchants with its authentic naturalistic scenery rendered by the wonder of the sea and the romanticism of the mountains. The Resort is about 500 m walk from the sand and pebble beach of Mpoufos and a few kilometers from the Minoan Palace of Malia, the third most significant and well-known after Knossos and Phaistos.
