Tunizija

Fascinantno. Edinstveno.

The fiery Sahara desert, which occupies around 40% of its territory, contrasts with warm and very fertile lands. The warm and transparent sea of the Gulf of Gabès is counterbalanced by the Atlas and Ksour mountains and the small oases among the dunes.

Over 4,000 years old, the city of Tunis is a beautiful labyrinth of architectural jewels. The most impressive thing? Its medina, considered the most beautiful medina in the Maghreb countries. The bazaars are full of sweets, slippers, traditional handicrafts, teapots, typical clothing, teas, infusions...

DJERBA
Djerba "la douce" resembles, due to the green of the vegetation, the gold of the sand and the intense blue of the sea, a floating oasis covered with palms, olive trees and fruit trees with bright flowers, among which the white stands out dazzling view of the menzel, traditional houses similar to small fortresses.
Its main centre, Houmt Souk, is a village of whitewashed houses, funduqs, pretty squares and markets selling fabrics and crafts. Djerba's nightlife, especially in the tourist area of Midoun, offers numerous possibilities. The island of Djerba is the largest in North Africa and is connected to the continent by a Roman bridge.
The particularity of its landscape, unusual and wild, the kilometers of fine sandy beaches, the clarity of the waters, as well as the hospitality of the population and the comfortable hotels, make it one of the most popular places for holidays in the Mediterranean.
ZARZIS
Zarzis is a port of Phoenician origin in a magnificent position between desert and sea, which despite the presence of some tourist facilities, leaves room for the silent scenery of the hinterland and deserted beaches set in a wilder and rockier coast.
A few kilometers from Zarzis are the cities of Medenine and Tataouine, ancient Berber villages on the threshold of the Sahara, interesting for their ksour, fortifications made up of the superposition of ghorfas, granaries once used to defend themselves from invaders.
The village of Chenini, one of the most fascinating, is carved into the rock in a spectacular position on the expanses of the rocky desert. A visit to Matmata is unmissable, with its troglodyte crater-like dwellings that give the landscape a lunar appearance, the set of numerous scenes from the film "Star Wars".
